Tobacco smoking is the number one cause of preventable death in theUS. Tobacco smokers have 10 times the lung cancer of nonsmokers, twice the heartdisease, and are three times more likely to die of heart disease if they developit. Does it make sense that tobacco is legal and marijuana is not, when so manypeople die from tobacco smoking each year and there is not one reported case ofanyone ever dying from marijuana use in its 10,000 years of consumption Youhave probably heard that one joint is that same as 10 cigarettes, but this statement is misleading. ALthough marijuana contains the same amount ofcarcinogens as an equal amount of tobacco and more tar, tobacco is still worse.Every yr 350,000 Americans die from tobacco-related disease according to theAmerican Lung Association. A tobacco smoker consumes much more tobacco than amarijuana smoker consumes marijuana.
This is probably because tobacco has a 90%addiction rate while marijuana is less addictive than caffeine. Also, tobaccocontains nicotine that may harden the arteries and may be responsible for muchof the heart diseases caused by cigarette smoking. Marijuana on the other handcontains the chemical THC which opens up the lungs and aids in the clearance ofsmoke and dirt.
I think it is safe to say that tobacco smoking is much moredangerous than marijuana smoking. Another bad habit is alcohol, which in myopinion is the worst of all. 8,000 American teenagers are killed each year and40,000 maimed from driving under the influence. The mortality figures foralcohol use are 100,000 annually, compared to the zero marijuana deaths. Theamount of marijuana needed to kill someone is 1 to 40,000, while the ratio foralcohol fluctuates between 1 to 4 and 1 to 10.

Compared To The Zero Marijuana Deaths
Had To Be Approved Of By
The lack thereof was labelled as inferior. Marriages in the eighteenth century were ones of convenience. They were more similar to business arrangements than the union of two inseparable souls. Women and men were sought after according to their wealth and eligibility. Women s property became her husband s when she finally married. Of course all marriages, of all young women, had to be approved of by the family. The young women were introduced into society at an early age.
The introduction was an indication of their availability. Young girls spent their entire lives preparing for marriage.

He Had Learned The Truth For
In this aspect, Dostoyevsky discredits the rationality of positivism, portraying it as a useless tool for understanding. Logical thinking was not what the ridiculous man needed to solve his problems and he learns this in his truly inspirational dream. The ridiculous man himself states the fact that he began to accept things without question in his dream. This is a very anti-positivism statement. He stopped trying to rationalize and just accepted the information he was receiving. This type of thinking is the true key to the understanding of life for the ridiculous man. He finds Truth through this dream, finding it all through feeling and acknowledging the fact the he could not understand everything the people on this new planet had to offer. In not understanding everything the people had to offer, the ridiculous man rejects logic.
He realized even then that many things in them the people on this new Earth were beyond his grasp. By accepting the fact that logical thinking is not always applicable, he had learned the Truth for which he had been searching his whole life.Dostoyevsky uses the metaphysical, the psychology of love and religion, showing it as the only way to truly understand. In the first sense, Dostoyevsky uses the metaphysical to demonstrate the psychology of love.
The ridiculous man is considered ridiculous by society because his beliefs are incomprehensible to them. He is found to be ridiculous, as is established in the end, because he is trying to preach love for all.
